Personal som verkligen månade om sina gäster. Hämtning vid flyget (mot ersättning naturligtvis) var jättebra och vi fick fin guidning genom staden. Lugnt läge trots att det låg i city.

The staff was very nice and very helpful. We felt really welcome! The breakfast was good and the cafe lattes were excellent. The location is super because it is close to the old town. The beds are nice, comfortable and very clean. The rooms are spacious and also very clean. Go there, it is a little paradise.

This is a really cosy family hotel where you will feel right at home. Everybody there went absolutely out of their way to help us, provide us with all necessary information and making us feel comfortable.Breakfast was great and every morning we were asked how we wanted our eggs that morning. :) I think I have never received such good and friendly service in an hotel before. The hotel is located a short walk through a nice park away from the old city and only couple of minutes from some very nice restaurants like Enriko Pulkstenis (!) and The Fying Frog Club. If I will be back in Riga, I will definately stay at Hotel Edvards again.

A marvellous find! Spotless hotel with the most comfortable bed we had in our Eastern European adventures! Consistently excellent & fantastically helpful staff - always very cheerful which definitely made a difference to our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Helpfully arranged very reasonable pick-ups to & from the airport; also arranged city tour with alternative pick-up point for us as my husband has mobility difficulties. An excellent, excellent place!

I've got all assistance by the staff of the hotel which I asked for. On the other hand, all freedom is possible if you like. The staff speaks very well English. The breakfast was OK, the rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are good and the internet works good. The location is quiet because the hotel is not directly located on the street. The center of Riga is on walking distance.

Very friendly owner, employees; they all speak English. The rooms are more modern than one expect from the website. At first I didn't like the street where the hotel is, but then I entered the court and the hotel was in the back with a little terrace in front. It was quiet. There were some very good spots in the neighborhood like a blues bar, Albert hotel with the lounge bar, 2 blocks further some very nice restaurants and terraces. 2 blocks the other way a nice theater with restaurant and terrace, 1 block further the Reval hotel with its sky bar on the 26 the floor, nearby public transport. I can really recommend this hotel if you want a personal touch.

Their hospitality. They are so kind. I stayed two nights and second day I arrived at the hotel very late evening without having a dinner. I asked if there is any possibility of having a small dinner around the hotel and they have served small dinner in the late evening. I personally also liked hair dryer which was powerful enough to make my hair dry quickly.
